Kekkai Genkai/Bloodline Name: Kumohasha(Spider Champion)
Location:: Land of Water(Mizu no Kuni)

History:: The origins of the Kumohasha are a mystery to all of those but the clan. Their history and teachings, included jutsu are handed down orally and not recorded anywhere physical. Whether or not their history has been warped by idealists or radicals, one cannot say. As the story goes, the Kumohasha were once spiders that lived in a realm beneath the earth. They lived in a colony at the feet of the Spider Goddess Lolth. Lolth favored the spiders and granted them greater life to attend to her needs and desires. These spiders evolved into humanoids and progressively took on a more human-like appearance to imitate the top of the food-chain(humans) Eventually the final product of the Kumohasha were produced, these were the offspring of the progenitors and were at first seen as defects and eaten. Years passed and their offspring only became more and more human-like that the Kumohasha accepted them as their own and thus evolution became the final product.

The Kumohasha built their society around Lolth and constructed a tower for her to reside as they worshiped her day and night. Under her guidance, they were taught how to control their KKG. Among other things, they were also taught the art of deception and murder. Once a group of spiders who only lived to die while mating, now the Kumohasha learned how to deceive one another for personal gain and favor from their spider queen. Lolth loved nothing more than needless violence and murder through deception and constantly pitted her best spider champions against one another. Over the years, "houses" were formed, families of alliances who defended one another in their desire to please their spider goddess. Among these houses, there were ten in total. Each one named respectively after the first ten leaders of the clan. Araneo, Charapeo, Cetaleo, Cephaleo, Chelio, Arachneo, Chevreo, Coxeo, Exuveo & Exeo.

Out of all ten of these clans, only two remain. The previous eight became victims to Araneo & Exeo's deceit. Lolth favored these two clans the most and often supported their enemies just to test the strength and fortitude of these two clans. Over the course of 500+ years, eight of the clans had become annihilated: a source of food and free-laboring slaves until they all had died out. When only the Araneo & Exeo clans remained, Lolth became bored with her playthings and thought of a new means of entertainment. Instead of ordering the two clans to fight each other for supremacy and ultimately survival: Lolth instructed them to leave the underground home and mingle in with the inhabitants of the upper world, the humans.

The Kumohasha were considered an "evolved" form of humanity, stronger even because of their unusual KKG abilities that humans lacked. Despite their strength and numbers, the intensity of light was too much to bear for them and many of the clan went blind only years after joining the upper world. They emerged in the Land of Water, Mizu no Kuni- on one of the many inhabited islands. At first, they were persecuted, seen as monsters for having six arms even though they looked the same otherwise. Not knowing the human language or culture, many of their kind were killed by shinobi. Approximately 3/4 of the two clans were wiped out after a vicious and long-drawn out battle for nearly a decade. The remaining 1/4 of the clans had achieved victory over the island they had emerged from and began to learn the common language and culture. Eventually, the war and hostility between the people of the Land of Water was forgotten. Instead, Mizu no Kuni saw the Kumohasha as valuable and useful allies: not just in their combat experience, but also their crafting experience with spider webs. The two clans, Araneo & Exeo joined the Land of Water and were for the most part accepted by the people of the islands. Araneo and Exeo still saw each other as rivals for their spider goddess's favor however and constantly sought to destroy each other. An inner clan war that is still in progress in the current shinobi world. Araneo bares the tattoo of a black widow on their backs, while Exeo bares the mark of a brown recluse on their backs. While others cannot distinguish them visibly, the Kumohasha instinctively know from which clan they are from.

They have established two villages on one of the islands, a village at each end with a thick jungle separating them. Araneo at the North of the island and the Exeo at the South of the island. Though two separate villages, both clans share the same doctrine based from their teachings from Lolth. Now separated from their goddess, they set up a hierarchy for their people. A matriarchy to be exact. The females of the clan are considered to be the dominant sex, as well as warriors and priestesses. The men are considered slaves and cannon fodder. Few males within the clan are worthy of becoming warriors, but due to the major loss in their numbers over a decade of fighting, males have been accepted to become warriors at birth and raised as shinobi of Mizu no Kuni.

Few trespassers come to their island known as "Spider Forest" Only those blessed with safe passage and trade are welcome. The two clans are infamous assassin clans due to their skills and physique. When performing assassin duties, the clans always leave their black or brown spider marks on their targets upon completion. Nothing in the clan is viewed more favorable to the Spider Queen than successful missions, power and deceit. While the males have no official standing in the clan, they are quite useful- though only the females are graced with being numbers. The numbers show order of importance and range from #1- however many there are. #1 is reserved for the clan leader, a woman said to be directly connected to the will of Lolth. The numbers #2-20 are considered priestesses and high-ranking women in the clan. #2 is considered the successor once the (#1)Widow dies. Because of the rarity in the color purple, those females born with purple hair or eyes are automatically brought to the inner numbers and replace the #2-20. Males will never receive a ranking, nor will they achieve a more valuable place than even the most unworthy numbered woman.

Beneath the Araneo village, is a cave which is always heavily guarded and only those #20 and lower may enter. Inside this cave are carved images of Lolth and the Widow, their current clan leaders. Currently, there are only two Widow statues, standing on either side of Lolth, included from both the Black Widow & the Brown Recluse. Unlike the Kumohasha, Lolth's statue is that of a half-woman, half-spider being. The upper half of Lolth is a naked woman with eight arms, while the lower half of Lolth is the abdomen of a black widow. The size of Lolth is quite large, her height around 12ft high. Similarly, the Widows being the eldest are also quite large compared to their "children" The Widows average 8ft in height and have larger bodies, though not fat. The Widows are actually quite beautiful, capable of woeing near any male and some females. They are simply considered" small giants because as the Kumohasha get older, their bodies increase in size due to the molting of their skin.

Reproduction is an odd sensation within the clan. Reproduction doesn't happen as often as it does for humans, so even though they live longer, it is easier for them as a species to die out in times of war and sickness. On a basis, the females can only reproduce once every five years. They are picky about their mates and it is cultural to kill their male mates after conceiving a child together. Due to the long interval between reproduction, the couples spend as much time together and sometimes forego reproduction several cycles before needing to kill their mates. Those who do not kill their mates are considered outcasts and hunted down. Among the males, the females will only choose the most worthy males as their mates. It is not uncommon to see females fighting over the "better" of the males, though the lower ranked numbers typically get a better choice of mates over those with unworthy high numbers. Once becoming a Widow, the female Widow leader cannot choose a mate or reproduce anymore: it is her sacred duty to lead the clan and commune with Lolth instead of raising a family.

The lifespan of the Kumohasha are unusually long compared to the rest of the shinobi world. Where normally, the lifespan is only 90-100 years, the Kumohasha live around 200 years before they die of old age. All of the elderly clan are deceased due to the recent warring and only the Widows are older than 100 years, both of which nearing their 200 year mark. Soon there will be successors for the clans and surly change will com about.

Kekkai Genkai/Bloodline Description:


  • Arms: Members of the Kumohasha clan are unusual in several aspects, but few are stranger than the amount of arms they possess. From birth, the people of this clan possess six arms. Each arm is identical and perfectly symmetrical to their body. The top two arms are normal as any other human, but the next two subsequent sets of arms are directly beneath the next and are spaced out approximately 3" from the next. These arms have full motion and functional, being raised at birth- the Kumohasha have full control and can move these arms naturally without becoming tangled. While they have six arms, most of the time around others not of the clan, they keep their extra arms folded and hidden, usually tucked under their shirts to appear normal. Because their abnormal number of arms growth, when their chakra is used for taijutsu or Bukijutsu- high-end skills such as S Rank+ cannot benefit from Mastery chakra reduction.
  • Skeleton: Because of the clan's unusual KKG and amount of arms, the skeletal structure of Kumohasha are different than every other human. While the lower half off them are the same, their upper torso differs from their amount of arms. Overlapping bone joins connect down both sides of their body to give functionality to their multiple arms. This leaves fewer vulnerabilities in their torso due to the overlapping bones, making their sides a less vulnerable place on the body where the arms connect to the body.
  • Eyes: Unlike others, the Kumohasha possess a greater amount of eyes. In total, they have six eyes. All six of which are within their two eye sockets like normal people. What differs however is that while looking normal, closer inspection of their eyes can tell that three pupils are within each eye socket and are independent of movement. This is capable because of the additional frontal lobe in their brain, which controls the cognitive comprehension. With their eyes like this, the Kumomusha have increased sight and a wider spectrum of vision. While normally humans can only see their peripheral vision by focusing on their utmost rear-sight, the Kumomusha naturally see half-way behind them. In color, their eyes are of only two- black or purple. Black is the most common and purple is considered rare or special. Only about 1/1,000 Kumohasha have purple eyes.
  • Hair: The hair of the Kumohasha are one of two colors, black or purple. The common color is black, whether silk or raven black are both equally common for black. Purple hair is uncommon, greatly so that those born with purple hair are considered special, even moreso if their eyes are also purple. Those born with purple hair are said to be 1/1,000. Those born with both purple hair and eyes are legendary- said to only be born 1/10,000. The members of this clan have much pride in their hair and grow it out as long as possible and groom it quite thoroughly.
  • Silk Glands: One of the three major physical aspects of the Kumohasha clan which are defining traits of their KKG is the silk glands within their mouth. The glands are naturally small, but can grow with proper training. The glands are a dark grey color and are located in the back of their mouth along the gap in their jaws. These glands produce a thick and strong spiderweb that is secreted from their mouth.



Kekkai Genkai/Bloodline Ability:

The Kumohasha KKG is a special ability endowed in all of the clan members. There are a few clan members born without these traits and they are considered inferior and killed at birth. The slightest of defects among their multiple arms or discoloration in their eyes are also considered inferior. The Kumohasa are born with six symmetrical arms that have full range of motion and coordination. The Kumohasha have six eyes, all located within their two eye sockets: this grants them a wider spectrum of vision, peripheral vision and attention to details. The Kumohasha also possess silk producing glands in their mouths that secrete thick and powerful webs the Kumohasha can aim and shape with their tongue and lips. Of the lesser notable side, the Kumohasha have a high affinity to arachnids: spiders of all kinds see them as allies and willingly feed off of the Kumohasha chakra and can be found within their clothing. Their affinity to spiders allows the Kumohasha control over the arachnids for multiple purposes- ranging from attacks or recon.

  • Arms: The Kumohasha's arms are with them ever since birth and the clan has grown accustomed to their movement and coordination. The use of these multiple arms provide the Kumohasha with different benefits based on their skills.

    • Ninjutsu: Because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may perform up to three handseals at once. The Kumohasha may not use 1-handed seals however or mold two jutsu at once.
    • Taijutsu: Because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may perform up to three Taijutsu techniques at once so long as they involve the hands in some way.
    • Bukijutsu: Because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may perform to to six Bukijutsu techniques at once depending on the weapon. Three for 2-handed weapons and six for 1-handed weapons.
    • Fuinjutsu: Because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may create up to three seal at once within reaching distance.
    • Kugujutsu: because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may increase puppet control effectiveness times three. While the amount of 5 puppets per hand(1 per finger) remains the same, the total of six hands increases the effective number from 10 up to 30. This same calculation applies when Human Puppetry is involved. Every additional 5 puppets reduces puppet speed by 10%
    • Medical Ninjutsu: Because of the amount of arms, the Kumohasha may perform up to three handseals at once. Complicated surgeries become easier with the use of multiple arms. Reduces posts of healing by up to 3 posts(At S Rank) based on the amount of hands used in the techniques. 2 hands per 1 post reduction.


  • Eyes: Due to the intricacies of the Kumohasha's compound eyes, the clan members have a wider spectrum of vision. This Field of Vision(FOV) has two separate degrees that pertain to vision. First is Forward-Facing Horizontal vision. This vision which normally consists of 180 degrees, is increased to 220 degrees due to the hexadic independent pupils. The second FOV is Forward-Facing Vertical vision which normally consists of 135 degrees, is increased to 175 degrees. This vision involved sight clarity of up and down, while the first vision involves left, right & blind spots. One must be behind the Kumohasha at a 170-190 degree angle to avoid visual detection. Due to the increased range and depth of the Hexadic compound eyes, where normal eye retina perceive in a 2-Dimensional view & their brain interprets as 3-D: the Kumohasha's eyes perceive in 3-D and their brain interprets in 4-D. This means abstract objects, light particles & chakra are capable of being perceived by their eyes.  The distance the eyes are capable of seeing normally is approximately 2 miles where things become indistinguishable. The Kumohasha eyes are capable of viewing up to 4 miles before things become indistinguishable. They can also see in near darkness, not complete darkness. The downside to these hexadic compound eyes are that they are more sensitive to bright colors and lights. Bright colors like white and yellow are viewed with slight glare while viewing the sun directly would cause temporary blindness(twice the normal ruling for jutsu & items).

Description:Due to the harsh effects of sunlight on the Kumohasha's sensitive eyes, the Kumohasha have learned to turn on and off their extra perception. To activate the ability to see abstract objects(such as light particles, chakra & invisible objects) the user must use 20 chakra the first post and 10 chakra every post afterwards. The Kumohasha's ability to see these different colors only allow them to see up to shinobi of their rank. If a shinobi were a higher rank than them, they wouldn't be able to see their colors. From this strain on their eyes from chakra, their maximum range is reduced back down to average of 2 miles(from 4). Though their eyes naturally perceive at 130%, this also makes them prone to "too-fine" attention to details. As such, they must be cautious around other Doujutsu(involving chakra such as Ranmaru's eyes and Genjutsu) and visual Genjutsu triggers(Are more susceptible to Genjutsu+1 post count when affected by Genjutsu) 
Chakra is perceived differently than objects and light particles: instead, chakra is seen as an aura or(life force) within people. This life force changes colors depending on the intent and health of the viewed target. Red chakra signifies violence. Purple chakra signifies deceit. Blue chakra signifies normality. Green chakra signifies sickness. Black chakra signifies guilt. They see more shades of coloring and the slightest shifting of light particles as if they were waves of heat. This makes camouflaged and invisible objects capable of being seen: on top of this increased sensitivity to light and color, the Kumohasha also perceives speed up to 130% of their speed.

  • Glands: The silk glands within the mouths of the Kumohasha are unique to the clan members. Similar to the spiders and a defining feature, the glands are not clearly visible unless a Kumohasha were to open their mouth for inspection. If inspected, the glands would look like dark grey tissue located at the back of the mouth and in between the gap of the jaws. Upon use, the glands secrete a large amount of silk web infused with chakra into the mouth as the tongue is used to shape the webs while the lips are used to aim, guide and focus the webs. The natural color of these webs are white, but the stronger a Kumohasha becomes, their webbing changes color to signify their clan-strength. Up to Chuunin have white webs, up to Jounin have black webs & Sannin/Kage class possess gold webs. Each color of webbing has a certain durability, the lowest(white) being as strong as glass but still quite sticky. The second(black) being as strong as iron and sticky enough to hold water. The third(gold) being as strong as steel and sticky enough to prevent air from escaping. Depending on the strength of the Kumohasha, the ability to spin webs varies. The webs spun from their glands are used for a variety of purposes, such as catching a foe or crafting weapons and objects made with the hardness depending in one of the three colors.

This is a lot of pluses with little to no flaws. I like the idea, but as it stands this is denied. I will leborate on what needs a flaw and what is considered over the top.

Arms: No to 8 arms. 6 at the most. And you will need a flaw for this, its on you to come up with one. This is akin to an ability.
Skeleton: I will allow this, but only where the arms and body meet. Your torso is still as vulernable as any normal person.
Eyes: This is fine.

The rest of the traits are fine But here is where we come to the major issue. You have tons of abilities but little to no flaws. Keep in mind in the future that we go by a perk/flaw system. This means that for every extra-ordinary thing you can do, there needs to be an equal flaw to go with it. I will point out the abilites and its on you to make the flaws.

Due to the intricacies of the Kumohasha's compound eyes, the clan members have a wider spectrum of vision. This Field of Vision(FOV) has two separate degrees that pertain to vision. ***This flaw is sort of correct. With eyes as acute as yours, you'd be blinded for more than one post by bright lights. I will allow twice as long as the average person is blinded by jutsu or item. Thus this depends greatly on the jutsu or item in question. You don't get to decide how long, your enemies item or jutsu does.***


Glands: These are fine and since it is the basis of your clan, spiders and all, I will not ask for a flaw here.

the rest need to be fixed or removed before this application is approved. If anyone desires to assist with this (staff wise) they are allowed, but my requested edits must be made.

*This has partially been altered from the previous edit(the reduced visual sight during chakra activation) Also, I added that due to their natural 130% speed perception, they can have "too-fine" attention to details- as such, they become more susceptible to effects of Doujutsu & visua Genjutsu.

Arms
Ninjutsu: So long as we are clear that you can not dual cast jutsu. Meaning no casting two jutsu simultaneously. In succession is fine.

Taijutsu & Bukijutsu: This gets tricky depending on the techniques being used. This will be allowed but watched carefully.

Fuinjutsu: Ok.

Kugujutsu: All puppets that exceed the Mastery amount of puppets allowed will have a reduced speed. Unless they pull a Sasori they will react and move 10% slower for every 5.

Medical Ninjutsu: No. Having more arms doesn't make you a better doctor, just able to perform faster.

Eyes
Chakra Vision: No. This is a strong ability to have, especially with your heightened vision. A stronger flaw than just bright lights is needed. If you can't think of any, remove it.

Perception Speed: No. Still no valid weakness for this. Bright lights cant be used to cover two major perks. Also, we will need a scale more site related. If this is to be allowed I will have to say your perception is just about tier 2 buki maybe even 3. But a valid weakness will be needed for this to be allowed.

If both are the effects of what I will assume is a doujutsu, then you may want to word it as such to kill future confusion.

Right now you have 3 rather major abilities. Lets see some good drawbacks.

Also put the eye sustained jutsu or doujutsu in the jutsu template, it looks nicer.

*Specified doujutsu & in jutsu form. As for this in general- they have acute light sensitivity, a Doujutsu chakra upkeep, increased negative effects from genjutsu & can only perceive chakra up to their own rank. Also, their maximum sight distance is reduced to normal seeing distance(Down from 4 to 2) during the Doujutsu. Do you have something else in mind? Because that is 5 negative/drawback effects for the eyes.
